My New Refinement Aligners
Today I had an appointment with Dr. Lynskey after not having any new Invisalign for a month. At my last appointmnet I had more impressions made for the new aligners. Dr Lynskey told me that the refinement aligners would be the same but that Invisalign had changed some things. That the attachments might be different. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was excited to get my new aligners so my teeth could continue to make more progress. At the beginning of my appointment, I asked what was going to happen today. Dr. Lynskey told me I’d be getting my new aligners, and I’d be getting attachments back on. I learned I’d only be getting three attachments put on, and they were new and almost completely invisible. I also found at these aligners are sharper, so they caused some discomfort at first. I disregarded this and didn’t think much of it. After I got my new aligners and attachments on, I left and went home. One I sat down to dinner, I realized the new attachments were definately sharper. Basically every other bite of food I took, I ended up biting my lip. I was really worried about this. Eventually I got used to the attachments and it wasn’t a problem. -Lilly
